Editor, Director
Another rapper born in 93, Mac Backwardz is teaching one of the next generation on his latest single ‘Editor, Director’ self-released with support from TULU Presents.
Coventry-born double time spitter Mac Backwardz burst onto the scene with a mixtape back in 2014, since then he has honed in on the grimier side of rap and linked up with creative development network TULU Presents who support independent rap artists.
In his latest offering Mac once again pulls out his double-time flow to teach a lesson to a much struggling emcee who can’t quite own the beat like Mac wants him to, or can himself. Drop in a little dub of what sounds like Mac’s therapist talking about his prescriptions and you have an honest insight and reflection of our protagonist.
TULU Presents seeks to pool creatives from across the UK and provide recording studios and creative hubs for them to grow their art. They also help with artist strategy and networking making them a useful tool for establishing independent artists.
‘Editor, Director’ is out everywhere now with the visuals ready to watch on Mac’s Youtube channel.
