Leven Kali is out to write the next episode of California hip-hop: buttery neo-soul vocals, growling electric guitar, and G-funk thump. A Santa Monica, California-based singer and rapper, he has already previously gained serious steam with a feature on Playboi Carti’s debut Mixtape, a writing credit on Drake’s More Life, a stream of solo singles that mix Marvin Gaye’s acuity with Anderson .Paak’s flow and of course last year’s 3 track EP ‘I Get High When I Think About Love.’ 

Kali has now revealed the visuals for his ‘Do U Wrong’ release, a duet with the Internet’s Syd Bennett which slides smoothly into R&B territory with tender piano chords, reverberating synths, and seductive electric guitar played by Parliament Funkadelic’s Ricky Rouse.
