Digital Crates #010
This weekly series will cover the best tracks to came out in the last 7 days and expose you to some great artists from around the world.
Kojey Radical Ft. Mahalia - Water [Prod. Swindle]
Right now Kojey is proving himself as one of the best in the country surely?! After the release of ‘If Only’ & his Fire In The Booth he is covering all angles. ‘Water’ brings that laid back vibe assisted with Swindle production & Mahalia soothes us with her flawless vocals. This song needs numerous pull ups & deserves a place on everyone’s summer playlist!

Wzrd Yoshi - Like It
Where do I start with Yoshi?! He’s been putting in the ground work for years and anyone who’s seen his live performance will know he’s capable of killing any stage! In this record it’s a much smoother affair, one to play when you on your way to pick up your girl. That pimpin’ sound! I’ve pulled this record up multiple times since it’s been released & I’ve added it to my playlist!

6IXVI - Fake Love (Ft. Ling Hussle & E.Mak)
6IXVI recently dropped his project ‘Chosen’ and this is the single that’s dropped this week. It features Ling Hussle who in my opinion is one of the most exciting artists coming through the ranks! 6IXVI deserves all the success he comes across, he is a pioneer in this scene & I’m hoping he gets that recognition. This record is a very reflective piece that will have you avoiding all that ‘Fake Love’ you’re due to come across on your way to success.

Ambush - Jumpy
The replay value Ambush has got is crazy! Ever since it dropped the song has made it hard for me to change to the next track due to the fact the energy is undeniable. This song is nothing but flexing and having jolly ol' good times with your mates (gyaldem). ‘Jumpy’ is definitely a street anthem with an ear-catching melody complement and a chorus that dedicates his love for bad bizzles.

Raheaven – Don’t Overdose
This song here ‘Don’t Overdose’ is how you close off a project, especially a beautiful rounded debut project. Big up Raheaven with this one here because I felt it. The pain and the yearning I feel in this song, mixed with the cut-throat vocals that just sit deep in your thought as she sings "How many nights do I have to sleep without you" I felt that shit. If you man don’t know 22-year-old songstress, as well as producer, (see she is even multifaceted how can you not rate) recently released her debut EP titled ‘Heaven on Earth’ and all I can say is that it's breath-taking for a debut project. This EP was my first time being introduced to the North Londoner but she has been putting the grind in that majority of great artists have to do, ranging from writing with the likes of Jay Prince on his Smile Good mixtape and producing for Kojey Radical on his ‘Chapter II’. It was definitely time for her to release her solo efforts to the world and I can’t wait to follow her on her musical journey.
