Come Alive

Surya, a Slough-based emcee, has opened his next chapter with the high-energy single ‘Come Alive’, where he welcomes challenges and adversity with bravery.  Music was not always Surya’s calling; a tech entrepreneur with a taste for hip-hop and two albums to his name, he includes ODB, The Neptunes and Tyler, The Creator as the real sound-shapers for his lively raps. 

This is not his first rodeo as 2017’s ‘Adolessence’ and 2021’s ‘Collage’ will demonstrate. Despite the glaringly obvious spelling difficulties, Surya provides his own take on what we can decipher as adolescence and collage as he holds a mirror to himself and his experiences.  Aside from his musical endeavors, Surya also heads a cutting-edge tech start-up and even received a Young Innovators Award, no less… He had this to say on his new release: “I’m all about creating music that’s bold, unapologetic and inspiring. I want my listeners to feel like they can take on the world and come out on top.”
