Brighton based singer-songwriter GIYA tells tales of misspent youth and suburban romanticism on the retrospective, anthemic and quintessentially British ‘Children’, taken from her debut EP ‘Almost Real’. Having grown up in London, GIYA’s debut draws on her experiences growing up in a big city, honing her sound over a 4 year period of time, to create a love letter to adolescence excitement and vulnerabilities.
