In 2019, Jeshi toured with like-minded renegade slowthai, and then saw the release of ‘Summer’ resulting in a sultry, low-rumbling 2019 collaboration with Brit Award Rising Star winner, Celeste.
COMING DOWN, a track that pricks the listener’s ears from the beginning with a piercing electronic inspired instrumental. The detailed references throughout the song create a perfect scene of Jeshi’s whereabouts, as well as the feelings he's experiencing. It is clear that the rapper has a range of influences ranging from the likes of Neptunes and Erykah Badu. This isn’t your average rap project, it displays picturesque pockets, and throughout he remains comfortable in a free-flowing swagger.
30,000 FEET, is an enjoyable journey within itself, scored with an unforgettable piano and synth, a combination that cannot be unheard. Openly discussing his personal battles this is the most transparent insight possible. Enhanced by the emotional vocals from Celeste, a seamless collaboration ending the project in phenomenal style.
