BACK AT IT AGAIN

My girl DDB back again, with the new track BACK AGAIN, released 16th of this very fine month of April, produced by Diboujone. The dreamy signature sound of the Mancunian beauty is released with some gritty visuals as part of her teaser for the upcoming VOL 2!

Twinkling intro with a peaceful bird sound inspires the lazy tone of the track, but somewhat juxtaposes the styling and visual elements of the video. The dark, hood visual features various shots of DDB essentially dog walking, but of course keeping it fully G, She makes her journey through misty, tagged up allies and empty streets. The imagery is very simple and beautiful - ratings to the videographer for some great shots and of course Tarnish Vision for the direction.

The actual story in the video embodies the idea of return. She's back in the middle of the night, misbehaving. The mellow relaxed sound of IAMDDB on this track really sets the mood for the video and helped inspired the whole visual; watching it somehow feels like something completely different when compared to just listening to the track.

As a fashion grad, I’m obviously going to mention the impeccable styling. With pieces by Gramm Clothing and styled by @e__gramm, you should 100% give a follow on Insta for all your 90’s Hip Hop, vintage, layered (with a definite Japanese influence) outfit inspo. As we know IAMDDB always keeps it G, however this boyish look, braids and balaclava, long chain and bomber is something I just NEED to see more of - I love it! That hood look with the voice of an angel and her attitude is just the most beautiful combo and I’m fangirling so hard.
