AFROPUNK’s Battle of the Bands is the first expression of mentorship, support and encouragement in our creative community. It is a competition in which new artists play for the chance to perform at AFROPUNK events and on its festival stages.

The AFROPUNK Battle of the Bands London 2019 contest has now started. The winner will win a trip to Johannesburg South Africa to perform at AFROPUNK Joburg 2019. Enter your band to win a chance to play alongside Solange, Miguel, Masego, Goldlink, Nao, Busiswa, Sho Madojzi and more.

Entries that have been accepted will progress to the voting round, where the Top 4 bands will battle it out in the final live show for a chance to play at AFROPUNK Joburg 2019.
