4 Siblings
Continuing to stake his claim, north London rapper Natty Wylah returns with an impressive new track titled ‘4 Siblings’ – an honest recount from deep within. Known for his personal, honest and rational approach, he encapsulates these attributes in this heartfelt track, an open letter to his family, that comes to terms with the siblings he never got the chance to meet.
There’s a real skill and complexity to how he delivers on this song, juggling between different flows, lyrical structures and vocal styles. However, through the masterful approach taken to this sensitive record, Mr Wylah demonstrates his competence at pulling together the beat and vocals to package an overall body of art. To me, ‘4 Siblings’ could be the first conscious rap tune to become a leftfield lullaby due to the track’s ethereal atmosphere. With a mixtape coming this summer, and an album next spring, you will be hearing plenty more from Natty Wylah in the coming future and I’m here for it.
