The harmonious line up joining The Pit LDN on the evening will be formed of Jaydonclover, B-awhe, Meron T, Safiyyah and a very special guest, guiding us through from 8pm up until the early hours.
The Pit LDN Live Presents:
Meron T
Meron T is a self-managed singer, songwriter, and aspiring producer. Her influences reflect both her Ethiopian/Eritrean heritage and south London birthplace. Black soul, hip hop and r&b music continue to inspire her stylistic approach to music.
Jaydonclover
Birmingham's Jaydonclover has been quietly encapsulating audiences with her dreamy, vulnerable stories of young romance on her 2020 release 'Recovering Lover.' Not quite in the bracket of traditional R&B or Soul, her sound is a little more daring and experimental; it's difficult to box in.
B-ahwe
B-ahwe beautifully marries elements of neo-soul, jazz and alternative hip-hop. Her vocal work nods to jazz greats Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald woven between contemporary influences like Nai Palm and Noname. Her songwriting packs a punch, with densely layered vocal harmonies decorated with beautiful guitar and keys parts, supplemented by powerful bass lines and driving grooves.
Bina.
Since her gorgeous 2020 debut ‘Boundaries’, South London soulstress BINA. has seen her stock rise rapidly, and is now regarded as one of the country’s brightest R&B upcomers thanks to a stream of rich and refined releases. Drawing on influence from a plethora of styles, as well as her surroundings and experiences, BINA. looks set to continue compelling listeners in a huge year for her.
Layfullstop
Layfullstop is a prolific creative force from Manchester via Birmingham. With a jazz-infused style teeming with charisma, colour and comfort, the singer garnered acclaim with brilliant cut ‘Cherries’ with a supporting COLORS showcase elevating her sound to a worldwide audience. Having dropped her sophomore project ‘STiR’ last year, Lay has built an impressive discography and there is plenty more to come!
