Presenting poet and alternative hip hop artist Dámì Sule’s third multi-track release This Love I Have EP. The Nigerian and Mancunian artist who raps in poetic forms, has a vocal that is atonal, melodic and incredibly clear cut. His music is incredibly beautiful and diverse, pulled together by the distinction of his voice.

Garnering major industry support, Dámì represented his hometown by performing at Sofar Sounds Manchester and has been covered up the likes of Complex, Dummy and GUAP Mag. His music has equally received regular plays on BBC Introducing and Giles Peterson’s Worldwide FM, as well as his debut single Self Love accumulating 35k views and rising. Previous EP Crayons and full-length album Rough Canvas have both been coined as avant garde and are well received in our contemporary landscape. Most recent singles ‘I Feel Like’ and ‘Don’t Worry’ have insatiably catchy hooks, whilst touching on very personal content.

Flipping the script on his usual sound, forthcoming EP This Love I Have is at once electronic pop, Disco house, and jazz hip hop. The lyrical content is psychedelic and lighthearted, but sincere and full of cool philosophies. Lead single With You, releasing June 14th, is pure acid house. With deliberately minimal but constant dialogue from Dámì, it sounds like you’re heading up to heaven and this move left for the artist will certainly gather attention. You Could Be The One is deep house to its core - a great undulating bassline, swung beat and an almost sarcastic rhetoric in the lyric. Trees & Pancakes is a pure piece of groove-rich psychedelic rap soul for fans of artists like Anderson .Paak and Kaytranada.
